DNA Cafe

Having recently disassociated from their coffee shop franchise, this local restaurant was ready to strike out on its own as DNA Café and Eatery.

The initial client request was for a redesign of the brand. Since the owners’ story was such a compelling one, we decided to bring the story behind the restaurant into the brand identity as a way of involving the clientele.

DNA Cafe is more than a breakfast spot, it is a cultural and culinary hub. It's where we celebrate our love for community, by serving magnificent mouthfuls and filling one's cup. These elements, create a real sense of belonging; a "coming home", to our happy place, to Cape Soul Food to AfriKaaps.
